BIO

Paulina is a reformed southern belle from Kentucky. She has been doing stand-up comedy and storytelling since 2011, performing in comedy clubs all over the country, as well as festivals like Gilda’s LaughFest and Derby City Comedy Fest. She’s opened for Ralphie May, Michael Yo, Chris Franjola, Sarah Tiana, and many more. She was the warm-up act for Darrell Hammond’s one-hour comedy special Mayhem Explained produced by Comedy Dynamics. Her creative nonfiction essays have been published in The Washington Post, The Nashville Scene, HerStories Project, and the award-winning anthology, That Time of The Month: Nashville Edition.

Onscreen, she wrote and co-starred in the web series Ruby Rae King, and has provided voice overs for Working for Copper Jim, HG Chicken, and the CMA Fest. She taught at Nashville State Community College and Middle Tennessee State University, and received a chili pepper on Ratemyprofessor.com. More recently, she developed and taught a storytelling workshop for low-income people in recovery from drugs and alcohol at The Clare Foundation in Santa Monica.

In Nashville, she was active with the Nashville Film Festival, serving as a script reader, panelist, and red carpet correspondent, as well as a member of That Time of the Month writing group. In Los Angeles she currently works with Laughter On Call, matching comedians with senior citizens with memory loss. She also performs with The Comedy Cartel for private gigs and is Secretary for the Clitorati, a flagship woman’s writing group. She’s got a 2:2 record for Roast Battles at The Comedy Store.
